routine holiday
Now this is unusual for me.

Usually, during holidays, I sleep late a lot (actually even when I don't have holidays I tend to sleep late a lot) and wake up super late. But I managed to cultivate the habit of waking up early while preparing for my exams, and I didn't want to lose that because the day is wasted when I wake up late and lethargic.

I've been getting a lot more mileage out of my day this way. I wake up around ten or eleven am, do my morning ablutions etc, and then I step onto the (new) treadmill and exercise for about half an hour or so, then take a shower, have brunch/lunch. When I go out it's usually in the afternoons or evenings anyway. When I don't, I'm watching more episodes of Bones or playing Sims.

I can't believe I've been keeping this up for so long! In fact the morning of my last paper (which was in the afternoon), I rose early and managed to get my daily dose of exercise as well. And it feels really good, that I'm taking control of my life this way, and not letting the computer or television dictate my hours. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this up for a long time to come!

Was down with the flu last Sunday, but it's almost gone now. I almost fell sick during the exam period too but it stayed away until my last paper was over! Haha thank God. Usually, by now I'd be coughing already, but the progression of the flu stopped at the 'runny nose' part and even now this is dying away. By His stripes I am healed. :)
