i'm a MiSa fan :D
MiSa = Michael + Sara (from Prison Break). I couldn't help but wonder, what if Michael's love interest was called Sophie/Sophia? It'd be MiSo then...hurhurhur. I used to associate Misa with a certain Japanese singer until they came along.

I like them because I think their relationship is the most honest and sincere one I've ever seen on TV. Ironically, despite the fact that he lied to her and manipulated her so that he could save his brother. In the process also setting off a chain of events that included her getting fired, using morphine, and having her dad killed (by someone else lah, not her!).

I also knew it was true love from the start (I know I sound like a romance novel cliche xP) despite the fact that Fox called what they had "sexual tension" back in Season One. Two seasons in, and they've only had two kisses (ok, three?) and no sex. Not even heavy making out or petting of any sort. Hands above chest level at all times. Lol xP Ok, so they hardly ever get to meet, and when they do, he's either:

a) a prisoner and she's his doctor
b) passed out,
c) lying to or has already lied to her
d) on the run and as a result of that
e) all smelly and dirty (but I'm sure his legions of fans don't find that a deterrent at all).

So not sexy right, so maybe it's not surprising that they've not had sex yet. I actually hope they don't have the time or luxury to get frisky in Three. It's just that practically everyone's jumping into bed on TV/in the movies, and it's really refreshing to watch a show where true love doesn't come together with sex. No, I'm not saying that sex is baaad or anything like that. Sex is good! Very good! Personally, though, I'm not jumping into any bed except my matrimonial one. xP

It's also not that I think that if you really love each other you should wait until you're married. I think that when you love someone, it's perfectly natural to want to kiss them, touch them, be intimate with them. Well, you don't even have to love or like anyone to be sexually attracted to them. Anyway, it's such a common thing nowadays that you don't even have to ask anyone if they're doing it. It's more like just a matter of when? I donno if I'm wrong. Maybe not everyone is doing it. Lol.

Ok, back to MiSa. I like the two characters on their own too. The fact that Sara is not weak or dependent, but is also vulnerable at the same time. The fact that she doesn't shut Michael off completely because of what he did to her. I don't know if I could have done the same, but then again, I don't think I've ever been in love like that before. I like that she doesn't trust him at first, I like that she actually stood up for herself in the face of his betrayal. It's like saying, "So what if you look like Wentworth Miller, and you're always pointing those mesmerising soulful eyes in my direction. I'm precious, and I'm worth more than that! So take that, I'm leaving!" I think it's cool, the way she makes him chase after her.

I want to be like Sara when I grow up. (I'm still very young!) :D It'd nice to be with a guy like Michael too, though preferably not a prisoner and not on the run! He doesn't even have to look like Miller. I love how he lets himself be vulnerable with her, I love how he chases after her, I love how he respects her, and protects her, and yet treats her as an equal and doesn't 'baby' her. Speaking of which, I like how even though they flirt (and I think it's so cute), they don't go all mushy and call each other honey and sugar and baby. Lol. It would be really kinda inappropriate if they did that, afterall they never had the luxury of going through the whole courtship phase. They're not exactly boyfriend and girlfriend either. What a weird relationship, really - and yet.

Of course MiSa/Mi/Sa is(are) not the only reason(s) I love Prison Break. I also like other characters. One of my favourites is T-Bag! Despite the fact that he's a killer, a paedophile and scary like hell, and I wouldn't want myself or anybody I know to be within a mile of him! It's just that the actor is so extremely good at being bad that I really enjoy watching T-Bag. And, impossible as it seems, there are people T-Bag loves more than himself as well. Human beings are funny things, no? We can be so destructive, and yet have such a capacity for love.

Sara: I have to be honest with you, Michael - that outfit doesn't look good on you at all.
Michael: Hmmph!! Are you kidding? I wore this just for you! I thought you liked your men crazy and imprisoned??

I so agree with you on the sex thing. So many characters on TV treat sex like a recreation that has nothing to do with real feelings, or else they jump into bed the first night and then decide they're in love - all because of an impatient viewing audience. It IS refreshing to watch love develop with the sex factor taken out for a while. It's more real, more powerful.
