you don't need a radio |
When you're got a crazy jukebox mind like mine, which insists on playing music (almost) all the time.
You may not think this jukebox has very good taste in music, but it is playing nonetheless, and I think it deserves to be heard. (Nonsensical lah lol :P)
Here is a sample of the playlist (in random order):
1. Mr Sandman by the Chordettes (this I love!!)
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream (bung, bung, bung, bung) Make him the cutest that I've ever seen (bung, bung, bung, bung) Give him two lips like roses and clover (bung, bung, bung, bung) [Frankly I would be a bit worried if my love's lips looked like roses and clover :)] Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over Sandman, I'm so alone Don't have nobody to call my own Please turn on your magic beam Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
2. Forever Love by Some Taiwanese Pop Idol (Wang Lee Hom??)
Forever love, forever love 我只要用一辈子的爱去爱你 从今以后 你会是所有 (Here the magic jukebox fails recall any of the other lyrics, and I am lazy to search online for them, hehe)
3. Crazy Life by Michael Buble
And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times It's you, it's you, You make me sing. You're every line, you're every word, you're everything
4. Candy Girl by the Archies
Sugar, Oh, Honey Honey You are my candy girl, and you got me wanting you Honey, Oh, Sugar, Sugar You are my candy girl and you got me wanting you
5. Quando Quando Quando by Many Different Singers (The version playing in my head seems to be sung by Frank Sinatra, sometimes it's by Michael Buble)
Tell me when will you be mine [Aha! Broken grammar lor. Shouldn't it be 'when you will be mine'? Unless it's really 'Tell me, "When will you be mine?"' Lol...] Tell me quando quando quando We can share a love divine Please don't make me wait again
6. Jesus You are My Best Friend by Hillsong
Jesus You are my best friend You will always be Nothing will ever change that Jesus You are my best friend You will always be Nothing will ever change that
Please don't ask me why my jukebox seems to play mostly love songs of longing and yearning :D Then again aren't most love songs like this, unless they are heartbreak songs?? And I don't like heartbreak songs!!
And er, I think my jukebox has quite outdated taste, haha! Even the sole Christian song here is from at least 5 years ago, when I accepted Christ. But they are mostly classics, haha! And classics never grow old :D (So says she of the crazy jukebox mind....) |
