my week in review
I had an awesome week of rest before school starts for me in approx. 3 hours.

Monday: Wild Wet Wet (at this I remember how Bro Ber always used to call it 'Wet Wet Wild' by mistake. I find it so funny!!) with Hannie and Sheenie (lol). Had a great time. Tried all the rides, except for the purple covered slide, which we didn't because we'd already tried the yellow uncovered one. Actually wanted to post an entry on this, but didn't manage to finish it. Maybe another time. In brief, I even tried the Slide-Up ride, which I found really scary. I screamed like a strangulated duck (or at least that's how I sounded like to myself) and felt like I was gonna fly off into the sky.

Tuesday: Suppposed to stay at home to reflect (I am very introspective) and tidy up my things. Never managed to tidy up, cos' realised suddenly that Bible Study was that day. Had fun with COF. :D

Wednesday: Back to the shop to help cos' Mom had an appointment with the doctor that day.

Thurday: Swimming in the morning with Sheena. Went to the Tampines Swimming Complex only to find that it was under renovation! So went to SAFRA instead. Made funny faces at each other underwater and other funny stuff. Then to the library, where I tried to study but it was so cold and I was so sleepy...then to Holland V, where I got really frustrated trying to find the freaking place! to meet Awesome Foursomes and Anti-Socialites. After much deliberation standing in a circle (as we always end up doing), we went to Burger King.

Friday: Swimming again with Sheena, then to Cass's house in Sengkang. It was great catching up with her again after all those months. Sometimes I marvel at how other people's friends have become good friends of mine, and thank God really, cos' if not for church I'd not have met them! Then to watch Crying Out Love, in the Centre of the World with Bro Ber, Hannah, and Jo. (Sheena was off having tuition with Bro Chris.) I'm not kidding, that is really the name of that movie. It was horrendously slow in pace, though only about 2 hours long. Jo fell asleep halfway! Lol. Then to the bowling place opp. Great World (the name suddenly eludes me) to bowl with COF. I didn't bowl (didn't feel like it xP) but enjoyed myself nontheless. Me and Hannah changed Bro Ber's name on the scoreboard from "Bernard" to "Papa Beard". Wahaha!! Jo and I wore matching colours that day, not on purpose, of course -- I had on a green top and jeans while she had green pants and a black tee. In the exact same shade! Later we found Sis Hazel with a green top and black pants, only her green was slightly duller.

Saturday: Spent quite a bit of time at home, doing the slides for Sunday. Then to visit my aunt at SGH.

Sunday: After service, went to Sakura at Far East to eat with the rest of the youth. Sat at a table with Alvin Sheena and this funny little boy Andy (Al was supposed to bring him home) who taught us that "nandri" means thank you in Tamil, and that "manakam" means welcome. Andy is 8 and was abandoned by his mother, and is now adopted by an Indian family, so he speaks Tamil and English. His mom took drugs while she was pregnant so he suffered some brain damage and does strange things sometimes, and can be really a handful. But he's really quite bright. After bidding goodbye to the two A's (Alvin and Andy) me and Sheena went to watch Fantastic Four. Ioan Gruffudd didn't look as good as he did in Horatio Hornblower. A bit disappointed about that =P But it was quite entertaining. I think Ioan looks better in print than onscreen. Anyway after that we swimming again. Haha. Went to SAFRA only to find that it's closed to the public on weekends! So went to Bedok to swim. Found it easier to swim there. There were some gross things in the pool (like dead insects and mysterious black flecks :S) though, and the toilets were kind of gross after 2 days of spick-and-span SAFRA.

I'm off to eat lunch now! ;D
