That's My Guy!
The most handsome, gallant, brave, courageous, faithful, loving, responsible, caring, gentlemanly, beatiful, drop-dead gorgeous, sensitive man that ever existed is my guy.

Who else do you think I'm talking about? Jesus, duh! Wahaha.

Yes I am joyful now despite the disappointment of yesterday. I am literally still sore. But nevermind, cos' I have Jesus and He is all I need. I have eternity in my heart, and yet so often I forget because it is so quiet and become attracted to the chaos of this temporal earth.

Shedding old skin is difficult and painful and makes me very vulnerable, but God knows it's necessary. And He is the balm for my sore skin, as well as the invisible protection during the period when I'm a butt naked sitting duck.

He's shown me what I can be if I let Him move in me. He's moulding me, changing my heart, showing me issues I need to resolve. Christmas Idol was a roaring success. Did I ever think I could organise something this good? I don't know, I never really thought about it in the planning process. I just knew I wanted it to be a success, and somehow after the initial unbelief it was easy to believe that God could bring 40 people. I thought it was rather "blah" that we had to base our budget on an input of 30 people towards the end.

I think this is the best Christmas I've ever had. In some ways, also the worst. This echoes xiao mei's sentiments. Hmmm.

Going crazy with the five who attended the adults' poolside dinner was really fun as well. I laughed so much my stomach hurt. I'm rarely this crazy. It was fun.

After judging for Christmas Idol, though, I understand a little how the poor judges feel. We only had 11 participants/groups, but after a while everything seems the same and you're daydreaming and out of comments. Haha. A bit intimidating, given that I'm not the most outspoken person around, but I didn't have time to worry about that as well.

All in all, thank God for everything. Thank God that I am always His girl, and He's always my guy. So romantic hor. *grin*
