Nine Million Bicycles by Katie Melua: video / lyrics
I love the opening lines, "There are nine million bicycles in Beijing..." I love Katie's voice...and all her other songs!

Closer by Travis: video / lyrics
I love Travis too!!! There's this other song from the same album (The Boy with No Name) that I love... it's called Under The Moonlight.
Fidelity by Regina Spektor: video / lyrics
Regina's another singer whose voice and other songs I love too... I think like Katie they have a very distinct voice and style. Check out Samson. It makes references to Sampson and Delilah. There're a whole bunch of songs about them you know. The world seems fascinated with them. But I'm glad I know the real love story... the one between me and Jesus. :)
I would classify the above songs as "songs to fall in love to", hehe. I have friends who hate the first two songs though, donno why. Lol.. Anyway I also have another favourite now that is kinda sad...
