A Place to Go
It is nice to have a place to go where you are always welcome. When you can't study at home because the drilling from the renovation upstairs is driving you nuts. When your parents are out of town, and the silence becomes too stifling. When there's always the cutest dog in the world to welcome you with much barking and jumping and licking.

The darling little thing has got me hook line and sinker man. :D

The other day, was eating dinner at the coffee table when suddenly her head pokes up from under my arm, front paws on my thigh and head pressing against the inside of my arm. Lol. I can't describe it well. She was looking at my food. When I backed away from the table, she fought (not really the right word, but I can't think of any other) to keep her paws on my thigh, walking along sideways. That was funny. Pathetic greedy dog. When she whined and we didn't give her any, she'd bark. Not as loudly and persistently as she was in the past; she's better trained now. It's not good to oblige her or she'll become spoilt and make a lot of noise if you don't give her some of your food. That's how she used to be in the past.

Anyhow, it's hard to be irritated when this cute little doggie comes and puts her soft little head under your arm and her little paws on your thigh and looks at yout with big limpid beguiling eyes. Even if it's just because she was eyeing your food.
