| The Lake House |
Watched The Lake House today after meeting with Hannah, Sheena, and our ever loveable Tracy. It's been a long time since we've gotten together like that, the four of us. And of course, it's not the same - it will never be the same. But hopefully the nature and quality of our friendship doesn't change even as we, and times, and things, change. Once again we ate at Kenny Roger's and then went to the arcade to play the Spot-the-Difference game, only the machine that we used to play it on is gone, and now it's on a machine that has smaller and lower quality graphics. :(
It was fun, nonetheless. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you're doing as long as you enjoy the people you're doing it with. :)
Then Tracy had to leave for carecell and Hannah was tired, so me and Sheena went off alone. We had drinks at the Starbucks at Suntec. My curly-haired angelboy wasn't there today...pity. :P And the iced mocha I ordered wasn't as nice today; it was kind of powdery, though still as rich as the one I had last week. I wonder if it was the mood of that day that made the drink taste so nice. Maybe I'll never taste that drink again.
Anyway, after that, we wanted to watch Lake House but it was selling out at Marina Square. So we went to Tampines Mall and watched a late one. It was also selling out but we got a seat in the left aisle, fifth row. It wasn't a very good seat for me, cos' at times when the camera was turning I felt dizzy. Something about the lopsided angle at which I was viewing the film. Anyway, it was really enjoyable. Funny and endearing. Bit confused about some of the timings though, as they switch back and forth between Sandra and Keanu's respective times.
I don't know why people say that Keanu Reeves can't act. So he's not exactly the most expressive of all actors, but I think his lack of dramatic acting suits the roles he's found himself in so far. Besides, he's really cute...xP I still remember the first time I saw Speed; I think it was with my aunt. And the first Matrix movie I saw with Sarah; how we gushed over him then! Brings back good memories, really. The days when we were young.

I love this Thai song that Sheena sent me. It's about a girl singing out loud and not caring about the people around her, because she is loved. The singer's voice is really strong and clear! And the song is really upbeat and uplifting. It makes me feel happy too! I'm just singing along "dadadada..." at the parts I don't know. She sent me the lyrics in simplified English, but so far I can only sing, "Yak chier wrong dung dung!" (or Yahk ja raung dung dung! as in her MSN nick) which I think means "Wanna sing out loud!" Hahahahaha...
