The love of my life...

Doesn't judge, affectionate, warm, responsive, easy-going, entertaining, amusing, accomodating, doesn't ask more of me than I can give, welcomes me everytime I visit. Not to mention being the cutest little dog in the world. (Yes, I'm biased!)

Ok, so her face stinks (due to mucus and tears and whatnot), she has bad habits of wiping her mucus onto walls and whatnot, she has no regard whatsoever for tissue boxes or soft toys or cushions you accidentally leave on the floor, and she's the greediest little dog too - her biggest 'turn-ons' are chocolate, eggs, and milo, and she totally ignores you when she's there's food!

But she's so adorable!! How can you not love her? Five (?) kgs of unbridled, unrestrained, "I'M-SO-HAPPY-TO-SEE-YOU"s. Jumping up and down, trying to lick your feet. When I'm not wearing jeans I often get as quickly as I can to a sofa soon as I enter, because in her excitment she often scratches unclothed legs. And then she'll scramble from one end of the sofa to another trying to reach me. She's a bit cat-like in the way she slinks around your feet when you're sitting down. And when you leave, she casts those big (albeit smelly) Bambi eyes upon you and looks at you imploringly.

She's not really mine, if four years of house visits have made her owners my godsisters, and they have they made her 'my' dog too. I often make the mistake of saying "my dog" when I talk about her to others. But really, that is how I think of her already. :)
