| Cocktails at Marche |
Met up with Divae and Pikachu today. After some time trying to find them, we decided to go to Marche, which I've never been to. After sitting there for a long time talking and taking up space, we decided to get drinks. On a whim, we decided to buy some alcohol. So off we went to the drinks corner, at which a spent a good while looking at the names and not knowing what to order because there was no description, just names. Some very weird, like Brown Cow, Moscow Mule, Side Car, Pink Lady etc. And giggled like the first-timers that we were.
In the end, we decided on Blue Lagoon, Cherry Blossom and Screwdriver. Raji had to go back and take her IC for the man to see. We drank Screwdriver first. It was actually orange juice with some vodka I think. Don't ask me why it's called that! Anyhow it turned out to be the nicest one. Blue Lagoon tasted like mainly Sprite and the tiniest tinge of alcohol. Cherry Blossom (my choice) tasted like sickly sweet cough medicine. =P
Me and Pikachu's faces turned red after that. The Diva, however, like the diva she is, looked the same and even said she couldn't taste any alcohol at all! Actually it's not the first time I've taken alcohol, but I didn't order them myself, they were free. It was after prom and I went with some classmates. Didn't dance; there were a few girls who didn't want to as well, so we just sat there and shared drinks. Was very thirsty. =P I think some people would be really shocked to read this. xP
Anyways, after that me and Pikachu shared the honey roasted chicken, this gigantic cheese sausage (yes there were dirty jokes involving that - LOL) and rosti with smoked salmon. The chicken was gorgeous, the sausage was too much meat, and the rosti was nice. Diva didn't eat cos' she was very full and took pictures of us using my phone, pictures that told a story. Like from the start, the full plate, then attacking the food, then the leftovers. Very funny.
The good ol' Awesome Foursome days. Too bad Jong wasn't there...lol yes we all have nicknames (I'm Sheep), though we don't usually call Pikachu that, but I'm using codes cos' today, I realised something...D and P are actually quite...horny! LOL. Don't run after me with a chopper!
Too bad I won't be in SG during Valentine's. We'd planned to have dinner together, the 4 of us plus some, like we did last year. I wonder which year one of us will be missing cos' she has a hot date? xP
Well, Valentine's in Europe with parents won't be so bad. I've come to enjoy their company. Thank God! Really really thank God. Seriously, there was a time I thought hanging with them was a killjoy. But I find myself looking forward (or at least not feeling apprehensive about it) to spending time with them, and having Dad to drive me home if he's near, is really a tremendous blessing. I believe that one day me and my family shall serve God together. I love God. = ) |
