Tralala~
I have this thing for those completely random sounds like the one above. Well, it's Tuesday and I'm still in SG. What of it? I'm leaving at a later time, duh. Blur me thought it was 7 AM instead of PM. -.-

Anyhow, I saw Troy yesterday. With Jongsy, who'd be thinking, "What the--" upon reading that I've called her Jongsy. Anyway. It was surprisingly meaningful, though it's definitely a blockbuster. (Why are blockbusters called blockbusters anyway?) There's that action + violence + gorgeous people + sex = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ formula. And Brad Pitt gets naked a lot. The other guys also do so occasionally, but only halfway. Even so, a lot of muscular legs are on display. Woot.

Sitting there watching Achilles and other soldiers slay one man after another with no hesitation at all, I realised that it was actually a very violent movie - only in that downplayed, sterilised, bloodless way of mainstream media violence. And here we are, so desensitised that we feel nothing, watching the simulation of merciless killing.

Then I also wondered if men from that time really wore those shiny gold things in their curled, braided, plaited hair, and those cotton sarong things with those midriff-revealing! tops. In that pretty aqua blue.

There were these girls behind us who'd make noises during intense fighting scenes (like that between Achilles and Hector), which was quite alright, because I tend to do this too when I watch movies/TV. Just hear me watching The Passion of The Christ! Lol.

It was those guys in front of us who were really annoying. At some points I really felt like kicking them in the head because they just would not shut up and stop making idiotic comments out loud and laughing when people were dying and when it was obviously not funny and apparently having little or no sense or respect. I don't know why but people like that just really get on my nerves.

Oh, whatever. I'm wasting my time.
