Have You Got a Brook in Your Little Heart?
Have you got a brook in your little heart,
Where bashful flowers blow,
And blushing birds go down to drink,
And shadows tremble so?

And nobody, knows, so still it flows,
That any brook is there;
And yet your little draught of life
Is daily drunken there.

Then look out for the little brook in March,
When the rivers overflow,
And the snows come hurrying from the hills,
And the bridges often go.

And later, in August it may be,
When the meadows parching lie,
Beware, lest this little brook of life
Some burning noon go dry!

- Emily Dickinson

I don't know exactly what this means, but I like it anyway. And if you say yes, you're probably my type of person. =D

I don't think I have a brook, though. I have a sea. A friend once said that I had a calming effect on people, "like the sea". Yes, I'd say I do have a sea in my heart. Deep inside are secrets and treasures few are privy to. On the surface it may look calm, but deep down it is turbulent...and vice versa. I do not belong to any except my Creator. I have a blue t-shirt that I love, with these words in Japanese Kanji characters that read as "Hai Ren" if I read them simply as Chinese characters...meaning Sea Person.
