Overheard on the bus home:
Male (M) sitting behind me starts talking to someone, presumably a female, on his cellphone.
M: I am on the feeder bus now, will reach soon.
("Feeder bus????" I thought.)
M: Yea, I live quite near the station actually, I'll be there in about 5 minutes.
(Not "ya" but "ye-air", which sounded rather pretentious to me.)
M: Yea, but it's raining dogs and cat. I can't walk through the rain.
(Yes, he said "dogs and cat". Lol. =P)
M (sounding resigned): I don't like the rain, Audrey.
(Erps. Sounds kinda faggoty....)
M: Can you pass me my gold shoes? I wanna wear them to Zouk.
(Wow, a guy with gold shoes!! Definitely metrosexual!)
M then goes on with more conversation about matching clothes that I don't catch at all except for the occasional "blue", "grey" and whatnot.
Turns out, he stays near my block, we got down at the same stop. I never got to see his face because I didn't dare turn to look, but I snatched a glimpse of his back. Green/white checkered collared shirt, jeans, blondish hair.
Am I being presumptous?
